DClinPsy - Clinical Psychologist

About me

Every person’s journey is unique, and at times you may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure which path to take next. I run a small, independent practice, Pathways Clinical Psychology, offering a supportive space to help you move forward with greater clarity.

I recognise the importance of finding someone you trust. I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), meaning I work to high professional and ethical standards. I bring psychological expertise, and you bring your lived experience. Together, we work collaboratively to understand your difficulties and make meaningful change.

I work with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, with particular experience in anxiety and stress. I also have a specialist interest in health psychology, supporting those adjusting to new or longstanding physical health conditions, as well as women’s health challenges, including fertility, pregnancy, and menopause.

I take a person-centred approach, focusing on your unique experiences rather than applying labels or single models. Together, we develop an approach that feels right for you and supports you to move forward. I offer a free 30-minute consultation for new clients.

Training, qualifications & experience

Over 8 years of experience across NHS, private, and charity settings. Alongside my private practice, I work in the NHS within a specialist health psychology team.

As a clinical psychologist, I use a range of evidence-based approaches in an integrative way, guided by your individual needs. I'm particularly drawn to compassion-focused and relational models to help you develop a kinder understanding of yourself and build more supportive ways of relating to your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
