About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, low mood, or having relationship difficulties? Many people carry these struggles quietly, often feeling shame, or that they should be coping better. Therapy can offer a safe, compassionate space to pause, be heard, and explore what matters to you.

I’m a Medical Doctor, Psychotherapist, and Coach with over 25 years’ experience across the NHS, universities, charities, and private practice. My background includes psychiatry, general practice, student health, and research, giving me a strong understanding of both mental and physical health. I also have specialist training in workplace mental health, lifestyle medicine and women’s health, enabling me to support people with chronic conditions, hormonal changes, or complex health needs, as well as those working in high stress working environments such as Oil&Gas, NHS and public sectors. I have extensive experience working with students and academic staff.

I work with stress, anxiety, panic, burnout, depression, low mood, low self-esteem, perfectionism, imposter feelings, grief, OCD, self-harm, sleep difficulties, workplace stress, relationship difficulties, chronic illness, chronic pain, IBS, autoimmune conditions, menopause, hormonal difficulties, and weight issues.

My approach is whole-person and integrative, combining evidence-based psychotherapy with practical strategies and a warm, non-judgmental, supportive space. I tailor the therapy to your needs and what would be most effective. I work with professionalism, compassion, and gentle humour to help you understand what’s happening and create meaningful, lasting change. A good therapist can be transformative. Reaching out is a courageous first step. I’d be happy to hear from you.
