About me
Hi, I’m Liz, and I’m a relational psychotherapeutic counsellor. This means I work with the belief that healing or sense of wholeness happens through relationship, both your relationships with others and the one we build together in the therapy room. I offer in-person sessions in a quiet, comfortable space in Worthing.
You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, identity issues, or past trauma. You may be feeling stuck or alienated from yourself. My approach is gentle yet engaged.
I work at your pace, with curiosity rather than judgment to support you in making sense of your experiences.
I also welcome gender, sexuality and relationship diverse people.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have completed a 4 year psychotherapy training and hold a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling with Social Responsibility. I also have additional training in Relationships and Couples (current and GSRD informed), Psychoanalytic Theory and Neurodiversity.
My background is in social work supporting and advocating for adults navigating mental health and social care systems. This 26 years of experience has given me a strong awareness of the challenges people face both personally and structurally, and it continues to inform my practice.
I am also a tutor and workshop facilitator.
