About me
I am a qualified and experienced Chartered Counselling Psychologist and EMDR practitioner. My extensive career includes working as a Highly Specialist Counselling Psychologist in the NHS, where I supported clients with complex and enduring mental health problems. I provide safe and confidential support for individuals struggling with a wide range of issues, including complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, bereavement, phobias, BDD, OCD, emotional containment/anger, and more.
My integrative approach allows me to draw from various research-based practices, ensuring that the therapeutic treatment is tailored to your unique needs. The methods I incorporate include Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR),
Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT):

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Individual sessions: £120 per session
EMDR treatment: £140 per session
I accept AXA, Aviva, Vitality, and Bupa Health Care insurance.I have some availability for new clients and, in certain circumstances, may be able to offer a discretionary reduction in fees for specific time slots. Please feel free to discuss this if needed.
