About me
Reaching out for support can feel difficult, but by being here, you have already taken an important first step.
I am an Integrative counsellor supporting people through a wide range of life challenges, including anxiety, depression, low mood, relationship problems, life transitions, divorce, job loss, identity struggles, low self-esteem, self-destructive thoughts and behaviours, and experiences of loss.
I offer a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space where you will explore your thoughts and emotions openly and feel truly heard and accepted. Together, we will reflect on both past experiences and present challenges, helping you to understand the deeper roots of your difficulties while processing emotions at a pace that feels right for you.
I will gently guide you through a process of self-exploration and discovery, helping you gain insight, make sense of the past and previous events and experiences, set meaningful goals, and feel more empowered and balanced in your life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified counsellor with a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I work with young people (13+) and adults.
I am a registered member of BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists).
I am also an accredited registrant of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society ( NCPS).
I adhere to the ethical guidelines of both organisations, and I am committed to ongoing professional development.
Before training as a counsellor, I worked as a career coach, supporting people in finding a fulfilling direction and guiding them through periods of change, learning, and professional development. This experience continues to inform my work, particularly when supporting clients through life transitions, identity questions, and decisions about the future.
I am passionate about supporting personal growth and believe that each person has the capacity for meaningful change. I aim to help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and move towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
