Perimenopause & Midlife Women's Specialist

About me

You might find yourself snapping more easily, feeling flat or anxious for no clear reason, or wondering why your relationships suddenly feel harder. Many women are unprepared for the emotional impact of perimenopause — particularly when it collides with parenting pressures, long-term partnerships, and shifting identity in midlife. It can feel like you’ve lost your footing.

For some women, this stage also brings a growing realisation that lifelong patterns — feeling different, masking, sensory overwhelm, rigid thinking, or cycles of anxiety and rumination — may have gone unnamed or unsupported. Hormonal changes can intensify these experiences, making coping strategies that once worked feel less effective.

I work with high-functioning midlife women who want to understand these changes rather than feel controlled by them. Together we make sense of what’s happening emotionally and physiologically, ease anxiety and reactivity, strengthen communication, and help you move through this transition with greater self-trust and confidence.

I can support you in harnessing the skills to improve your wellness and reduce both physical and psychological symptoms. If you would like to discuss further, please book a free 20 minute telephone consultation.

Further information

Alongside my private practice, I have experience working within the children’s healthcare sector, supporting young people and their families through complex emotional and medical challenges. This has given me a deep understanding of how family systems function under pressure, and how parental stress, worry and responsibility can take a quiet toll over time. It also informs the way I support parents navigating the teenage years, helping you respond with steadiness rather than self-blame.

I have also worked within a charity supporting individuals experiencing addiction and a wide range of mental health difficulties. This role strengthened my understanding of anxiety, depression, trauma and the coping strategies people develop to manage overwhelming feelings. It reinforced my belief in meeting each person with compassion, curiosity and respect, recognising that behaviours often make sense in the context of someone’s history and circumstances.

These experiences continue to shape my integrative, person-centred approach. Whether you are navigating perimenopause, relationship strain, parenting pressures or exploring possible late-identified neurodivergence, I offer a thoughtful and non-judgemental space where we can gently make sense of what you are carrying and find ways forward that feel realistic and sustainable.

I look forward to working with you and exploring ways in which you can improve your life day to day.
