About me

I’m an integrative counsellor who believes therapy should feel like a space where all of you is welcome — the strong parts, the tired parts, the angry parts, the parts still healing, and even the parts you’ve had to hide just to get through life.

I work with person's navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and the lasting impact of difficult childhood or relationship experiences. Specialise experience in supporting person's who have experienced domestic abuse, coercive control, or unhealthy relationship dynamics, helping them reconnect with themselves beyond survival mode.

My approach is person centred, creating a warm, supportive and non judgemental  space where  all of you are welcome. I don’t believe you need to come into therapy “put together.” You don’t need the right words either. Together, we create a space where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin untangling the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

I understand how culture, family expectations, faith, survival, and lived experiences can shape the way we move through the world — particularly for women who have spent years carrying responsibilities, silence, or emotional burdens alone. I also understand the complexity of identity shifts, migration, relationships, menopause, reinvention, and starting over.

I work integratively which allows me to work flexibly, drawing from different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Above all, I want therapy to feel supportive, relational, and empowering — a place where you can reconnect with your voice, your boundaries, your confidence, and the version of yourself that may have been lost along the way.

Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and honest. I bring compassion into the room, but I also gently challenge where needed because healing is not only about being comforted — it’s also about growth, truth, and learning to show up for yourself differently.

Because healing is not about becoming someone else. It’s about coming home to yourself — all of you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
