About me
Are you suffering from emetophobia, anxiety or an eating disorder? Are you caught in a cycle of never feeling good enough, constantly self-doubting or procrastinating? Is anxiety holding you back from the life you want to live? Maybe you’re depressed, burnt out, overwhelmed, or stuck in perfectionism, driven by impossible standards and harsh self-criticism. Perhaps your relationships are suffering, and you don’t know why. You don’t have to face this alone. I created "Tutum Psychology" from the Latin word 'tutum', meaning 'safe'—to offer exactly that: a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore, heal, and grow. Let’s work together to create that space for you.
I am a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in adolescent and working age adult mental health. My areas of expertise are eating disorders, ocd, emetophobia, depression, and anxiety. I also work with a range of clinical presentations e.g. trauma, perfectionism, self-criticism, emotional dysregulation, and many others. I have 19 years of experience working in mental health and completed two doctorates.
Seeking help is hard, especially if you’ve reached out before and felt let down or misunderstood. Real and lasting change is possible. You don’t have to keep struggling on your own. I offer a warm, supportive space where you’ll be truly heard, deeply understood, and guided with care and expertise. Together, we’ll find an approach that works for 'you'.
Training, qualifications & experience
I’ve been working in mental health since 2006 and hold two doctorate degrees in Psychology—one in Clinical Psychology and the other a PhD in Psychology. My training goes beyond the foundations, with specialist post-qualification expertise in trauma-focused therapies, including EMDR and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for Trauma, as well as evidence-based treatments for eating disorders such as Enhanced CBT (CBT-E), Compassion-Focused Therapy for Eating Disorders (CFT-E), and Family-Based Therapy for Anorexia (FBT-An).
Before setting up my private practice, I served as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist on an inpatient adolescent Eating Disorder unit. My NHS experience spans a wide range of services, including Early Intervention for Psychosis, Non-Psychosis Adult Pathways, CAMHS for Looked After Children, and Medical Psychology—giving me a broad, in-depth understanding of complex mental health challenges across the lifespan.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
