About me
You're holding everything together — work, relationships, responsibilities — and doing it well enough that nobody would guess the effort it actually takes. But privately something won't shift. The anxiety that appears for no obvious reason. The relationships that follow the same exhausting patterns. The flatness that success hasn't touched.
You've probably tried to address it. Got some tools, felt better for a while. But something underneath keeps reasserting itself — and you're right that it does.
I've spent 30 years helping people understand what's actually driving their experience, not just manage the symptoms. The first conversation is free.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Transparent, ethical fees
I believe cost should be clear and steady so therapy feels safe and predictable. Your session fee reflects more than just time in the session: it includes a focused 50-minute appointment, secure records, brief check-ins between sessions where clinically appropriate, and my ongoing supervision and specialist trauma training to maintain high standards of care.
Payment options
Payment by card via my website. Receipts are available for employer-funded therapy. I do not work with private medical insurance; if you have cover, you’re welcome to seek reimbursement directly from your provider.
Cancellations & rescheduling
Please provide 24 hours’ notice to avoid the full fee. This protects the time I’ve reserved for you and allows me to offer the slot to someone on the waiting list. Sessions start and finish on time; late arrivals may shorten your appointment.

Further information
I work online (UK-wide) via secure video. You can book and manage your appointments through my secure online diary—choose any available time and reschedule up to 24 hours beforehand; you’ll receive confirmations and reminders. Sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly at a steady time so therapy feels predictable and safe. My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based and relational: we stabilise first, then process at your pace. I keep brief GDPR-compliant notes. Between-session contact via email is encouraged.
