About me
Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress or burnout?
You may be finding it difficult to switch off, constantly worrying about work or the future, feeling emotionally exhausted, or struggling with low mood and self-doubt. Perhaps you've tried to cope on your own, but things still feel stuck.
As a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with over four years of clinical experience across NHS and private mental health services, I help adults develop practical skills to overcome emotional difficulties while gaining a deeper understanding of themselves. I offer evidence-based CBT alongside Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring therapy to your individual needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
I regularly work with people experiencing:
- Stress and work-related stress
- Burnout
- Generalised anxiety and excessive worrying
- Depression and low mood
- Low self-esteem and self-criticism
- Difficulties managing overwhelming emotions
- Trauma and PTSD
My approach is collaborative, compassionate and flexible. I believe therapy works best when we work as a team. I bring clinical knowledge and evidence-based strategies, while recognising that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we'll make sense of what's happening, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical ways to move towards the life you want.
Therapy with me begins with a free introductory Zoom call, giving us the opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy and whether we're a good fit.
During our first sessions, we'll build a shared understanding of your experiences and create a personalised treatment plan based on your goals. If you're unsure what those goals are, that's completely okay, we can explore them together.
Depending on your needs, our work may include:
- Learning practical CBT strategies to manage symptoms
- Understanding the patterns that maintain anxiety or low mood
- Processing difficult emotions and experiences
- Building self-confidence and self-compassion
- Developing healthier coping strategies
- Making meaningful, lasting changes aligned with your values
As an Asian therapist, I also appreciate that culture, family expectations, identity and lived experiences can shape mental health in unique ways. If these are important to you, therapy offers a safe and non-judgemental space to explore them.
Whether you're looking for short-term CBT focused on a specific difficulty or longer-term therapy for deeper personal growth, I aim to provide a supportive, respectful and compassionate space where you can feel understood and empowered to make lasting change.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
