About me
I am an integrative psychotherapist working one to one.
I am a psychotherapist who is big on connection. I believe, as humans, we heal in relationship, therefore the client/therapist connection is the foundation of the work and you feeling comfortable is a priority.
My style is relaxed and relational, which means that I bring myself to the therapeutic relationship as a human first. As an integrative therapist, I will walk alongside you and support you in exploring and connecting with yourself, your patterns, difficult emotions and life challenges. I will offer insight and gentle challenge (where appropriate) and draw on different therapeutic approaches to support you.
I’ve worked in NHS and low-cost counselling services and also as a Samaritans volunteer. I have experience across the corporate world of marketing and communications, in both private and public sectors, working closely with leadership teams.
I’ve been privileged to work with individuals from many different backgrounds and experiences, which means I bring a diverse understanding and cultural sensitivity to my work. I’ve worked with people who’ve experienced a variety of issues, from grief, abuse, prison, homelessness, anxiety, addiction, depression, trauma, exploration of gender, sexuality, religion and culture.
My aim is to offer a safe and inclusive therapeutic space where you can come as you are and know that all is welcome for us to explore.
I am a Masters qualified Psychotherapist and a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I uphold my own strong ethical stance alongside the UKCP Code of Ethics and Professional Practice in all that I do.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
