We get to a point where we are ready for change , but cant quite see how. Its good to talk with friends and family, but sometimes they don't see things with the same approach,or quite get where we're coming from, or its difficult to remain objective if they have a personal connection to you. I am someone who I hope you can share anything with, I hold a light and nurturing space where you can open if you want to, in your own time.
Background and method
Over 20 years ago I trained for several years with two wonderful Teachers, one a Taoist Master and the other a well known Author who had learnt from many Nature based and Shamanic Cultures from around the world and who sought to make them accessible to our Western culture.I then trained as a Counsellor to gain pyschological understanding, professional skills, and a way of combining what I had learnt. I found that it was very complimentary and fitted together well.
I was taught that in the fundamental nature of all healing, whether it is physical, emotional, mental or Spiritual, the same concepts can be applied. We all have our tensions, and we have to discover what holds it in place ? If Tension is just squashed up space -how do we get back to the space ? What devices do we need that will encourage release, and what choices must we encounter ? Sometimes to help us find our path again, we need some help navigating.
So part of my role is to help you to find the routes to nurture the hurts and tensions. The talking process helps to bring whats appropriate for release into consciousness, and then if you choose, i introduce the processes to get to the roots which lie underneath. This often means finding ways past the mind, which can keep old patterns, hurts and beliefs in place. I might work with meditations, creative visualisation, Inner Journeying, Mindfulness techniques or energy work. As a practising Tai Chi Teacher of 20 years, I might also show you simple exercises to support your process between sessions, in the same way that a physio might with a physical issue. As an energy worker for the same amount of time, I have lots of self healing tools to help support your commitment for change.
I am qualified, a member of BACP, and work to their professional guidelines.
If you need to ask any more questions, we can have a free confidential chat over the phone ,we can meet in person for an introductory session which is half the usual rate.If your situation is more immediate, we can do a full session straight away.

Sessions are tailored to suit individual needs, such as times and frequency, which can be discussed and reviewed at any time. I am available for daytime and evening sessions.
