People usually arrive stuck, a bit tangled in knots or overwhelmed. I initially help to get a sense of perspective and spread things into manageable bits, to restore some balance.
We start talking to unravel things. I provide reflection and feedback. I might offer some simple tools to help support the sense of restoration and stability.
When you are ready,(I never push, I go at your speed,) we start to work with the tensions that have been creating difficulties. I help to identify the pattern of events, and then work with you to figure out the strategies for moving forward and support you while this takes shape.
I find a way of working with you that is personal to you, by responding to your needs and where you are at.
I am qualified, a member of BACP, and work to their professional guidelines.
If you need to ask any more questions, we can have a free confidential chat over the phone ,we can meet in person for an introductory session which is £20.If your situation is more immediate, we can do a full session straight away.
I work from quiet and cosy private rooms in Totnes, Dartington and central Exeter.
Sessions are tailored to suit individual needs, such as times and frequency, which can be discussed and reviewed at any time. I am available for daytime and evening sessions.
I can also do online or Telephone sessions, and can possibly do home sessions in the event of a disability.
