About me
Taking the first step toward counselling can feel like a significant decision, but it is often the beginning of a transformative journey. I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to work collaboratively with you, supporting your emotional wellbeing and helping you achieve meaningful, lasting change.
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by over a decade of dedicated work within the mental health sector. I have spent ten years gaining deep clinical insight across diverse settings, including a secure adult forensics ward and NHS GP surgeries.
During my time as a Senior Team Leader within the NHS, I saw firsthand the vital importance of accessible, high-quality mental health support. This experience inspired me to undergo four years of intensive study to qualify as an Integrative Counsellor. In addition to my clinical background, I have spent two years volunteering with charitable agencies, supporting individuals from all walks of life as they navigate their most difficult moments.
As an Integrative therapist, I do not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Instead, I draw upon various therapeutic models to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. This flexibility allows us to address your specific challenges in a way that resonates with you personally.
Whether we meet face-to-face or via online sessions, I ensure that our work is inclusive and adaptable. I have extensive experience working with Neurodiversity , including ADHD, as well as supporting clients with speech impediments and learning difficulties
I support clients through a wide range of life’s challenges, including:
Emotional Health: Depression, anxiety, stress, and chronic overwhelm.
Self-Perception: Navigating low self-worth, self-esteem issues, and burnout.
Relationships: Communication difficulties, infidelity, separation, and divorce.
Loss and Healing: Grief, resentment, and processing historic abuse.
Choosing the right therapist is about finding someone you feel comfortable talking to. I offer both face-to-face and online therapy to ensure that support is flexible enough to fit into your life.
If you are ready to begin or simply want to find out more about how we might work together, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
