About me
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and begin moving toward where you’d like to be. I work with adults (18+) with issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and life changes. I work with couples who want to strengthen their connection, understand each other more fully, or navigate challenges together. This might mean exploring patterns of communication, reconnecting emotionally, or simply finding a space to be heard and understood. I also offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
I care deeply about people not just talking about change, but actually feeling it in their day-to-day lives. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is hearing a client say that their perspective, attitude, or approach has begun to feel different - that something has landed or changed in a way that really matters to them.
I work from a person-centred foundation and integrate other approaches when they can support deeper understanding or the changes you’re hoping for. I believe you’re the expert in your own life, and my role is to be alongside you - steady, open, and honest. Together, we’ll notice what’s happening beneath the surface, explore patterns that might be keeping you stuck, and gently challenge things that don’t quite fit. Many clients tell me they value the mix of openness and clarity, and the sense that they can show up exactly as they are.
My intention is always to offer a space where you don’t have to prove or justify yourself. I’ll meet you where you are and adapt sessions to what feels supportive for you - emotionally, practically, and therapeutically.
Training, qualifications & experience
My integrative training allows me to tailor therapy to you - your personality, your pace, and what you’re navigating right now. I work with adults (18+) online and face to face, and I offer in-person work with couples. I also bring lived experience of neurodiversity.
I have experience working with issues such as trauma (particularly childhood trauma), stress, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I also have experience working with couples who want to rebuild connection, communication, and trust.
I have worked with people who live with diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, bipolar, psychosis and more. While these may be part of your story, I work with you as a person first - your experiences, your relationships, and what matters most to you.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
