About me
Are you looking for a space where you can explore your story with creativity, compassion, and curiosity?
How I work
I am a trauma-informed drama therapist who combines creative approaches, body-based awareness, and ‘parts’ work to help people feel more connected to themselves, to others, and to the world around them.
I welcome clients from all walks of life and stay mindful of the wider social and political realities we live in. I believe therapy is most meaningful when it acknowledges the world we move through each day.
What a session might look like
Sessions are 50 minutes long. They may involve exploring through art, journaling, story, movement, or imagination, and at other times simply talking together. My approach is guided by your pace, supporting you to discover ways of working and tools that feel right for you.
I see the therapy space as a place to practise authentic connection, and to gently explore new ways of expressing and understanding yourself.
I offer an initial free 30-minute introductory session to explore whether we might work well together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained as a drama therapist five years ago and am a trauma-informed practitioner with additional basic training in Ecotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic approaches.
I have 15 years+ experience working with both young people and adults in schools, hospitals, and private practice. I work with a range of people, from people experiencing mental health difficulties, those in crisis or interested in understanding themselves and their relationships better.
I have also led creative wellbeing programmes, coordinated therapeutic initiatives, and devised and led retreats for personal development.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
