About me
I offer individual therapy for adults, both online and in-person.
I understand that it can be challenging to share your thoughts and feelings, but you don’t have to face this alone.
I am dedicated to creating a space that allows you to feel safe, accepted, and free to express yourself. At the centre of this is building a trusting relationship, which I see as an ongoing and evolving process between us.
I am aware that therapy will look different for everyone. Being an Integrative Therapist means I am able to draw from different therapeutic approaches, tailoring our work to what feels right for you.
Whichever direction it takes, I believe you already hold the insight and strength to navigate your way forward, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now.
Through being in a safe environment, where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, this can help to gain clarity and better understand your current challenges.
Many clients express that this approach deepens their self-awareness, builds confidence, and develops trust in their own choices, helping them step into a life that feels more meaningful.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am trained as an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist - with the belief that there is no 'one size fits all' approach to therapy.
Throughout my career, I have worked in frontline roles, supporting vulnerable and marginalized individuals, including several years in homelessness. This experience has allowed me to work with people from diverse backgrounds with complex needs.
I have experience supporting individuals facing a range of mental health challenges. Including depression, anxiety, ADHD and bipolar disorder. As well as struggles with low self-worth, addiction, trauma, identity, bereavement and relationship difficulties.
You might come to therapy with a clear idea of the areas you want to focus on.....
But it's also completely normal to not always understand why you feel the way you do, and this is something we can explore together.
One constant I have witnessed - has been the deep human need for connection and this shapes my holistic approach to therapy.
The main modalities that I use are Person-Centred Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and mindfulness-based practises.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
In the past, I have facilitated men’s peer support groups, which has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges men can face when seeking mental health support. While awareness in this area is growing, societal expectations and stigma can still make it difficult to reach out. If this resonates with you, I welcome the opportunity to connect whenever you feel ready.

Further information
I understand that reaching out to a therapist can feel daunting. You can contact me for a free 20-minute introductory call, which can be done over the phone or via video. During this time, you can ask any questions, and share any concerns you have.
Many clients find that this conversation helps them feel more at ease with the process and gives them a sense of whether they’d like to continue working with me.
There’s no obligation to continue after this. What matters most is that you find a therapist who feels like the best fit to support you on this journey, whether that’s me or someone else.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering therapy - a compassionate step toward prioritising your well-being.
