About me

CBT Therapist

EMDR for young people and adults

I am Dagmar, an accredited CBT and EMDR Therapist for adults, children and young people. I have been working for the NHS and in private practice for over 10 years. Since completing my BA Hons in Psychology, I have been supporting people with mental health difficulties, such as depression, anxiety and trauma, low self-esteem, perfectionism and procrastination.

I really believe that nobody needs to suffer from trauma, and I am passionate about helping people of all ages to overcome trauma, whether small, big, single or complex, in a compassionate, empathetic and non-judgemental way. In my practice I draw on my Mindfulness training while establishing grounding techniques during therapy, and when treating rumination, worry and self-criticism.

I am accredited with BABCP, EMDR UK and EMDR Europe.

I am passionate about combining CBT with Mindfulness practices and Compassionate Focussed Therapy principles. In my practice, I treat clients experiencing difficulties ranging from anxiety disorders (such as OCD and Social Anxiety) and depression, to single trauma, complex trauma and PTSD. I specialise in the treatment of depression and low mood, procrastination, perfectionism, shame and guilt and anxiety disorders.

I offer a 15 minute initial free chat. If you would like to book in an initial chat, please give me a call or send me an email. I offer therapy via video, telephone or face-to-face.
