About me

My therapy sessions are based on trust, openness, empathy, compassion and kindness. Many of us are kind to other people around them and very good at looking after others, but in our modern world, we have forgotten how to be kind to ourselves, and that is part of the focus of my therapy. In my CBT Therapy, I not only look at negative patterns of thinking and behaving, but I also  ensure that patients are heard, feel valued and listened to. My patients often comment very positively on my style of therapy and I have helped many to recover, make positive changes, and improve their well-being long-term, whether at work, in their relationships or with their families.

Currently I work with patients remotely offering therapy sessions via telephone and video.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a High Intensity CBT Therapist with 6 years experience working in Mental Health for the NHS and with private patients. I am passionate about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Mindfulness and have completed a Teacher Training in Mindfulness. In the past years I have loved to help people with common mental health difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, panic, phobias, PTSD, OCD, health and social anxiety as well as low confidence, shame and guilt. In my practice, I have also worked with people with gender dysphoria in the setting of a gender identity clinic.

I have completed BASc in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in HI CBT and am a member of BABPC.
