About me

Life can be a lot. Sometimes it feels like you missed the memo and have no idea what you're supposed to be doing. You might be feeling anxious, depressed, stuck, overwhelmed, or struggling with low-self esteem. Maybe there’s something in your past that still weighs on you, or a feeling you can’t quite put into words. Whatever it is, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I’m Conor, a counsellor offering a collaborative, person-centred approach —which really just means that we don't use rigid formulas or make assumptions but work together to bring your process into greater awareness and integrate the competing parts of yourself, where your inner feelings and outward expressions align leading to a more harmonious, mature and genuine way of being. I believe therapy works best when it feels like an honest, real human conversation—one where you can say what’s on your mind, explore what’s been holding you back, begin to make sense of things to move forward.

What to Expect

  • A steady, engaged space to talk things through
  • A therapist who works with care, curiosity, and the utmost respect for your process
  • A chance to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to improve communication with yourself and others.
  • No “fixing” or quick solutions—but space to understand yourself better and figure out what's important

Is Counselling Right for You?

You don’t need to be in crisis to seek therapy. Maybe you’re struggling with mood, anxiety, self-doubt, past experiences, or a sense of uncertainty. Maybe you don't know what's wrong or where to start. Or maybe you just want to understand yourself better. However big or small it feels, it matters.

If any of this resonates, I’d love to hear from you. No pressure, no commitment—just a conversation to see if this feels like the right fit for you and where you're at.

COSCA

COSCA is the professional body for counselling and psychotherapy in Scotland, and seeks to advance all forms of counselling and psychotherapy and the use of counselling skills by promoting best practice and through the delivery of a range of sustainable services. COSCA Counsellor Accreditation is a pathway to entry onto the UKRC. It is a requirement of all individual and organisational members of COSCA to abide by its Statement of Ethics and Code of Practice and be accountable to the Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Flexible Fees to Keep Therapy Accessible

I offer a means-based fee system to make counselling available to as many people as possible. The recommended session fee is £70, but if this isn’t manageable for you, we can discuss a rate that better fits your circumstances. Equally, if you are in a position to pay more, you are contributing to the running of a progressive and inclusive counselling practice.
