About me
If you're struggling right now, you really can be helped. Anxiety and depression are extremely common, and in a world of pressure many of us are suffering in ways that don’t fit a label and often others can’t see.
You don’t have to stay stuck in that.
I built my practice to ensure that real help is available, combining clear thinking with genuine care. I use Advanced Integrative Transactional Analysis, which brings the great thinking tools of CBT and the wonderful positive care of Person Centred Therapy together in a way that can be so transformative that people are often amazed at the change.
I work with individuals and couples too. We work together in a structured, collaborative way - making sense of your history, your current life, and the patterns that are keeping things stuck, then actively changing them.
Some (but not all) of the areas I specialise in are:
Anxiety
Neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia)
PTSD and CPTSD
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
I’m neurodivergent myself and have a direct understanding of the challenges that can bring.
I work with both women and men around the specific pressures and experiences that come with gender, and I’m strongly LGBTQ+ allied.
I work with a wide range of people, from those facing complex and longstanding difficulties to those dealing with everyday struggles. Whatever you bring, you’ll be met without judgement.
My focus is to understand what’s actually happening for you and help you change it. You’ll have a space to speak openly, be taken seriously, and work towards clarity, stability and a real plan for change.
You don’t need to manage this alone anymore.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Transactional Analysis from an Integrative Perspective. (4 years, Masters Level / level 7). I have been practicing for 11 years, across London, Manchester and Hebden Bridge. I am currently advancing my training further to a higher level within my modality called the CTA exam qualification.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
