About me

I am a registered counsellor and EMDR practitioner working with both adults and young people who are struggling with life's challenges. My areas of special interest and experience include: anxiety, panic attacks, confidence and self esteem, PTSD, stress, trauma, loneliness, bereavement, depression, relationship issues, intimacy issues, divorce, family conflict, infidelity, life transitions, peer relationships, estrangement, abuse and grief, bereavement and loss.

Together, we can explore any painful experiences and behavioural patterns that may be unhelpful, in order to facilitate change and growth through compassion, empathy and understanding.

I offer a warm, safe and secure environment in my discreet practices in Fulham and Richmond and also in Clapham, where you can explore your feelings and emotions. If you think therapy is something you wish to consider, the next step would be to book an initial appointment to discuss what you would like to get out of therapy and how we can work together. I work face-to-face and via Zoom.

I currently have some availability for long term face-to-face work, short term face-to-face-work, and appointments via zoom. I am a registered provider for Cigna and Aviva Healthcare.

An initial conversation is free of charge and conducted via zoom. It is an opportunity for us to explore what you are looking for from therapy and for you to see if you would like to work with me in the future. We can also agree on the session fee, and regular appointment time going forward.

Please call me on 07796 267139 or send an email if you have any question or would like to book a session. I also offer a FREE 15 minute introductory call which you can book here.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
