About me
My name is Circe Jackson and I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and a clinical supervisor, with over 12 years of experience working as a psychological therapist, offering face-to-face therapy in Central Dorking or online therapy from the comfort of your own home.
Much of my career has been within the NHS. I am extremely passionate about CBT and the life changing benefits it can have on an individual’s life.
Alongside my clinical work, I have spent many years lecturing in psychology at the University of Surrey, teaching CBT techniques and training the next generation of NHS talking therapists. I also support trainee CBT therapists through marking and providing clinical supervision at the Canterbury Christchurch University.
I work with people experiencing symptoms of anxiety and/or depression, and have a specialist interest in working with depression, low self-esteem, generalised anxiety disorder and OCD. I also have extensive training and experience in supporting clients navigating infertility and postnatal or prenatal anxiety and depression.
Sessions with me are collaborative, non-judgemental and grounded in evidence-based approaches. While therapy can be challenging, sessions are lightened by genuine warmth and often include shared laughter. I regularly attend advanced training to ensure my practice remains current and effective, and I consistently receive excellent feedback from clients.
