About me
Are you feeling overwhelmed, unhappy, or anxious? Perhaps you’re navigating difficult changes, facing relationship challenges, or struggling with difficult feelings. You might sense that something isn’t quite right but aren’t sure what you need or where to begin. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Seeking support through counselling could be a positive step towards finding relief and clarity.
In our work together, I offer a calm, empathetic, and supportive space - a place where you can truly be heard and seen without judgment. Therapy honours your unique experience, fosters autonomy; through compassionate guidance, we’ll examine your relationships, empowering you to discover new perspectives and pathways forward. My approach is neuroaffirming, recognising and respecting the diverse ways in which minds process experiences, so therapy is tailored specifically to your individual needs.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor each session to your unique situation. Our initial meeting serves as a gentle assessment - an opportunity for you and me to understand whether we are a good fit and to clarify your goals. From there, I draw on a rich blend of therapeutic methods, primarily Person-Centred focusing on your personal experience and Attachment Theory to explore early relational impacts and elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns where appropriate. Together, we integrate the approaches that resonate most with your needs, ensuring that your therapy journey is both effective and meaningful.
If you’re ready to take a step towards feeling heard, supported, and empowered, I am here to walk alongside you. Let’s explore your story together and craft a path toward healing and hope, one session at a time.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
