About me
I specialise in helping people whose lives have been disrupted by chronic pain and physical limitations find their way forward. Using evidence-based approaches, we'll identify how pain has narrowed your life and develop practical strategies to expand your world again. Rather than just managing symptoms, we'll focus on reconnecting you with meaningful activities and relationships that pain may have stolen.
Sessions blend reflective conversations with targeted techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Whether you're struggling with pain flare-ups, feeling your body has betrayed you, or finding yourself stuck in symptom-monitoring cycles, we'll create a roadmap for living fully despite ongoing physical challenges.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified and BABCP-accredited therapist with nearly 15 years of experience in mental health care. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and have completed advanced training in CBT supervision and evidence-based interventions for long-term health conditions and medically unexplained symptoms.
Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse roles, including Clinical Lead, Clinical Supervisor, and Team Lead, across the NHS, universities, private healthcare providers, and digital health organisations. I’ve led specialist therapy programmes for long-term conditions, developed ACT-based groups for Long Covid, and contributed to national healthcare initiatives, such as cardiac rehabilitation and diabetes support.
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, and I have helped thousands of people regain a sense of purpose and connection, even in the face of significant health challenges.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
