About me
I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space to help you navigate the emotional challenges of living with health conditions, chronic pain, or injuries. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, unhook from unhelpful thoughts and feelings, and reconnect with what truly matters to you. My goal is to help you build resilience and take practical steps toward a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling, even in the face of challenges.
Sessions are tailored to your needs, combining space for reflection with evidence-based strategies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Whether you're adjusting to a diagnosis, dealing with ongoing health challenges, or feeling stuck, we’ll work together to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified and BABCP-accredited therapist with nearly 15 years of experience in mental health care. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and have completed advanced training in CBT supervision and evidence-based interventions for long-term health conditions and medically unexplained symptoms.
Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse roles, including Clinical Lead, Clinical Supervisor, and Team Lead, across the NHS, universities, private healthcare providers, and digital health organisations. I’ve led specialist therapy programmes for long-term conditions, developed ACT-based groups for Long Covid, and contributed to national healthcare initiatives, such as cardiac rehabilitation and diabetes support.
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, and I have helped thousands of people regain a sense of purpose and connection, even in the face of significant health challenges.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
