About me
Hello, my name is Chloe, and I am a qualified Psychodynamic Therapist and Counsellor. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about your emotions and experiences.
I have experience working with children from ages 4 to 18, often incorporating play-based and creative approaches to help them express feelings that can be difficult to put into words. I also offer sessions for adults, supporting individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about how to move forward.
I have particular experience working with depression and anxiety, but can also support with other areas, including confidence and self-esteem, anger, and navigating life challenges. My aim is not only to support with immediate difficulties, but to facilitate a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.
Psychodynamic therapy focuses on understanding how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns can influence how we feel and behave in the present. Often, difficulties such as anxiety or low mood have roots that are not always obvious. By gently exploring these patterns together, therapy can help you gain insight, make sense of your emotions, and create lasting change. Sessions move at your pace, within a safe and containing relationship.
Alongside my psychotherapeutic training, I also have training in low-intensity CBT, which I may integrate lightly where it feels helpful, while remaining grounded in a psychodynamic way of working.
I offer both in-person and online counselling. Sessions range from £50-£75 per hour.
If you are considering beginning therapy, you are very welcome to get in touch to see whether working together feels right for you.
What to expect in the first session:
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to begin talking about what has brought you to counselling. There is no pressure to share anything you are not ready to talk about. We will go at your pace, and I will listen carefully to what feels important for you. I may ask some gentle questions to help me understand your experiences and what you are hoping for from therapy. You will also have the chance to ask any questions you may have and to get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
Sessions are generally 50 minutes long and scheduled weekly.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have and can be contacted either by email, phone, or through filling out the counselling directory contact form.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
