About me

Many of us have experienced something throughout our life that has been traumatic and the pain from that leaves its mark. During therapy, we work together, over a period of time, to untangle the complications that trauma causes, with the aim of you feeling more freedom and less burden.  Often, I find myself working with clients who are experiencing anxiety and or depression for a variety of different reasons so we work together to explore what is causing these feelings with the aim of moving past them.

I use an integrative approach with my roots based in person centred therapy. I offer a confidential, non judgemental space where you can explore any issue you wish to bring. Within this space I encourage you to find your voice. I work alongside you, at your pace, with the intention of helping you live a fuller, more wholesome life.

Living with mental health difficulties can be so isolating and lonely. Whilst I am not in your shoes so do not know exactly how you feel, I want to sit with you and take a hold of some of that pain so we can look at it together and you can become free of it. If you are ready to take the next step, please get in touch and we can arrange your session.

Training, qualifications & experience

I I have experience working with children, young people and adults in both the setting of my own private practice and within different education settings

I completed training with Place2be, the leading national children's mental health charity. I run my own practice in Herefordshire and Chepstow.

I work in schools, with 'Tappy Twins', a Community Interest Company, which was developed to support our young people, when they need it most. We are a forward-thinking, one stop support service that focuses on the mental and emotional health and well-being of children and adults; through 1-2-1, workshops and family support. Whilst we encourage positive and emotional well-being, we hold a firm focus on prevention.

I am a trainer for TT Academy, delivering Mental Health First Aid training and a variety of workshops.  The workshops include Stigma and Discrimination with Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug misuse, Mindfulness and Meditation.  For more information on training days, well being days and workshops, please feel free to get in touch.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
