About us
The Chelmsford Counselling and Therapy Centre provides a safe place for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. We are located near to both Chelmsford Railway and Bus Stations. Our aim is to inspire growth bring about change and self fulfilment .We are a group of therapists both male and female who have many years of experience. We are able to help with a variety of issues including anxiety,depression, loss, stress,self esteem ,confidence, sexual abuse, disability/health issues. We also work with relationship issues, Eating issues and weight management.
We pride ourselves on our quick response, we are usually able to see clients within 24/48 hours and are happy to accommodate shift workers and others with irregular working patterns.
We work with adults, children and Couples
We also offer Coaching, NLP , Hypnotherapy and EMDR
We offer Clinical Supervision with reduced rates for Trainee Counsellors
We have 6 Consulting Rooms to hire to fellow therapists by the hour.
We have Counsellors on placement who offer Counselling for individual adults at £20 per hour

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

We have a number of Counsellors in the final year of their training who can see clients for between £20 per session..
