About me

Life is difficult, and it’s my job to help you feel supported as you move through whatever challenges you’re facing. As a qualified counsellor I aim to offer a space where you feel genuinely understood and cared for. I also draw gently on my own life experiences, which help me connect with clients in an authentic, grounded way while always keeping the focus on your needs.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or navigating a significant life event, I’m here to walk alongside you as you make sense of what’s happening. Together, we can explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe and steady and find a way forward that feels manageable and truly your own.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I see therapy as a collaborative journey: you lead the way, and I provide consistent support as we look beneath the surface, notice patterns, and build healthier ways of responding to life’s pressures. You don’t have to face everything alone — that’s what I’m here for.

I work with adults and young people (18+) experiencing a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, bereavement and loss, trauma, and domestic abuse. Whatever you bring, you’ll be met with empathy, understanding, and care.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a blend of therapeutic approaches including person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural therapy, allowing us to shape the work around what feels most helpful for you. I firmly believe that a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful, lasting change.

I offer both short-term and open-ended counselling, depending on what feels right for your situation. I also keep my prices intentionally low, because I believe everyone deserves access to therapy, regardless of their circumstances.

You deserve support, and I’m here to help you find your footing again.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
