About me
It can be very anxiety provoking taking the first steps to look for a therapist, and then to decide which one to make contact with! So, to help you decide if I am the right person to support you, here’s a little bit about me and my therapeutic approach.
I like to think that I am a warm and approachable person, who genuinely cares about working alongside people and building meaningful connections. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to offer a safe space, where people feel able to open up and when it feels right take new challenges. I have honestly been in awe of so many of my past clients, their strengths and sheer determination never fails to inspire me!
I am particularly passionate about applying trauma-informed perspectives to all areas in my work. I am a true believer in the power of the therapeutic relationship in creating change, and therefore this will be my priority.
I am passionate about exploring experiences first-hand through the eyes of the clients themselves in non-oppressive ways and highlighting strengths. By offering a reflective space there will be opportunities for guidance and self discovery, supporting you to live a meaningful life and meet your goals.
Whilst I hold additional training as a High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, I adopt an integrative approach to therapeutic work utilising various theoretical approaches including other third wave approaches (CFT, ACT & CAT) alongside attachment principles. I strongly believe that there is no ‘one fits all approach’ to my work and I am keen to adapt clinical work to suit individual needs.
I am currently offering therapy via the telephone or video call. If you would like to have an initial chat for 10/15 minutes please get in touch via email or send me a text message/whatsapp. Alternatively you can book a slot via this website.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
