About me
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Chandni. I’m a Mental Health Counsellor and I offer 1-1 online and in-person counselling sessions. Each session lasts for 50 minutes, where you can step away from the demands of everyday life and have a space that is entirely yours, a moment to breathe, a moment to slow down, a moment to reconnect with yourself.
Life can be challenging and there may be times when we feel overwhelmed, lost or alone. Perhaps you’re struggling with something that has happened in your life, carrying more than you feel able to hold, or simply feeling unsure of where to turn. Maybe you’ve been putting on a brave face and carrying on, even when things feel difficult underneath. Perhaps you’ve become used to putting everyone else first, while your own feelings and needs have been pushed to the side. You may find yourself overthinking, feeling drained, feeling stuck, feeling disconnected from yourself.
Whatever has brought you to therapy, you don’t have to face it alone, I’m here alongside you.
I offer every client a space grounded in support, understanding and a consistent presence, where you can feel heard, accepted and valued for who you are.
I believe that every client should be treated as the unique individual they are. I work with adults of all backgrounds, beliefs and genders.
As someone of Indian heritage, I understand that culture, family, values and expectations can all shape our experiences and the way we navigate life. If your cultural background is an important part of your story, you are welcome to bring this into our sessions. I offer a culturally sensitive space where these experiences can be explored openly and without judgement, while recognising that everyone’s relationship with their culture is unique.
How I work
My approach is integrative and person-centred. This means that while I draw upon different therapeutic approaches, you remain at the heart of our work.
I value meeting clients exactly where they are. Our sessions will be collaborative and guided by what feels right and meaningful for you. We can take things step-by-step and at a pace that feels safe and comfortable.
Therapy can be a place where you don't have to put on a brave face, look after everyone else or have all the answers. It’s a space where your experiences are heard and where you can take the time to understand yourself without judgement.
Whatever you're carrying, you will be met with warmth, compassion and without judgement, in a space where you can be yourself, talk openly and feel genuinely understood. Together, we can gently explore how your experiences may be shaping the way you think, feel and relate to yourself and others. We can take time to understand patterns, triggers and difficult emotions and explore where they may have come from. Along the way, we can build greater self-understanding, develop helpful ways of coping, and support you in feeling more grounded and connected to yourself.
What Can I Help With?
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, emotions and life experiences, including:
- Anxiety
- Grief and loss
- Cultural identity, expectations and pressures.
- Relationship difficulties
- Depression, low mood
- Anger
- ADHD, Autism
- Trauma
- Burnout
- Boundaries
- Work pressure
- OCD
- Stress and overwhelm
- Self-esteem, self-doubt, confidence
- Student pressures, academic stress and expectations.
- Difficult life experiences or transitions
- Feel disconnected from yourself
- Feeling lost, stuck or unsure of what comes next
- Feeling that you are carrying more than you feel able to hold
You may also not be able to put your experience into a particular category and that's okay.
Sometimes we simply know that something doesn't feel right or that we need someone to talk to.
Sessions
I offer online and in-person therapy for adults aged 18 and over for both short term and long-term work together. I offer both day time and late afternoon appointments.
In-person sessions are available in Leicester and online sessions are available across the UK using Google Meet.
Taking the First Step
Making the decision to begin therapy can feel daunting, particularly if you have never spoken to a counsellor before. You don't need to know exactly what you want to say and you don't need to have everything worked out before reaching out.
If you feel ready to begin this journey together, we can take things step-by-step and at a pace that feels safe and meaningful for you.
Whether you're experiencing a particular difficulty or simply feel that you need some space to talk and make sense of things, you're welcome to get in touch.
Free Initial Consultation
I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation, giving us the opportunity to have a brief conversation about what has brought you to therapy, what you're hoping for and whether working together feels like the right fit for you. There is no obligation to continue afterwards it's simply a chance for you to ask any questions and get a sense of whether you would feel comfortable working with me.
If you feel that this might be the right time to reach out, you welcome to reach out for a connection call or simply click the email button to send me a message.
You deserve a space where you can be heard, understood and supported. Take care.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and I am fully insured with Howden Insurance. Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
