About me

Do you feel like your mind never switches off — replaying conversations, worrying about things that haven’t even happened yet, and struggling to fully relax? A lot of people I work with describe feeling like they’re moving through life in slow motion — tired, disconnected, and doing their best to keep it all together on the outside.

If this resonates with you, I want you to know you’re not alone. I’m Cathy, and I offer a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and begin to make sense of whatever’s weighing on your mind.

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, relationship struggles, or simply feeling ‘stuck,’ therapy can help you understand yourself more deeply, ease the mental load, and feel more like you again. I offer integrative counselling, drawing from Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT and Hypnotherapy — so your sessions are shaped around you and what you need.

You can choose to meet in person in Milton Keynes, or from the comfort of your own home with online counselling sessions — flexible, accessible support that fits around your life.

I know reaching out can feel like a big step, especially if you’re not sure where to start or whether we’ll be a good fit. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute phone call — a friendly, no-pressure chat where you can ask any questions and get a sense of how I work. If it feels right, we can go from there. If not, that’s completely okay too.

At the heart of my approach is genuine connection. I believe that feeling safe and understood is where real healing begins. I’ve worked with people from all walks of life in schools, charities and private practice, and I know how important it is to be met with warmth, respect and no judgment.

If you’re looking for friendly, down-to-earth therapy in Milton Keynes — or accessible support through online therapy — feel free to get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
