About me
Hello, and welcome. My name is Cat, and I’m a therapist and clinical psychologist committed to supporting people through emotional and mental health challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and based on evidence-based therapies that promote healing, strength and self-acceptance. Together, we create a safe space where you feel heard and understood within clear professional boundaries.
Difficult experiences, self-doubt, and low mood can shape how we see ourselves and the world. I believe in self-compassion, creativity, and the power of nature in healing and personal growth. Like the lotus flower, we can rise from muddy waters, moving toward clarity and resilience.
I use evidence-based approaches, including Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These therapies will help you to manage emotions, build confidence, and foster self-awareness. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or life transitions, therapy can provide the tools to navigate challenges more effectively.
Therapy is not about fixing what is “wrong” but about gaining insight, developing coping strategies, and moving forward with greater self-acceptance. If you are looking for a supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions, I am here to help. Feel free to reach out to discuss how we might work together.
