About me

My work focuses on

  • sharing practical skills to help calm your mind and body and regain control
  • exploring relationship patterns to helpl you heal from past hurts
  • build self-confidence so you can face life’s challenges more easily

At our initial meeting I'll focus on exactly what's been troubling you, and discover how things might look better for you after our work together.  If necessary I may also offer you practical evidence-based ways to ssupport you in managing symptoms of anxiety depression and grief.

As therapy progresses, and your anxiety and depression start to ease, I'll support you in looking at your deeper feelings that lie beneath the surface.    I often work gently to help people notice emotional patterns resonating from the past that may be creating your emotional and relationship difficulties.  This new-found awareness helps you make new and and much more positive choices for your future, supporting you as you move forward with renewed self-confidence and optimism.

I completely understand how the stress of losing an important relationship can create intense and lasting suffering, and compromise our ability to trust.  We're built for connection, so when that's broken through unmet needs, infidelity, anger loss and betrayal, it's no wonder we struggle to cope with the emotional fallout.  Feelings of confusion, depression and anxiety about our future can also often complicate our grief.  This is where i can support you.  In a safe, welcoming and reassuring space,  we can carefully look together at what's been going on, how you're managing, and discover new ways to make more  positive choices, restore your self confidence, and enhance your resilience and wellbeing.

Sometimes clients come to see me simply because they realise they just don't feel good, They sense something isn't quite right, and know they could be happier.  Often this sense of unease has been going on for a long time.

The quality of your relationship with your therapist is very important. My clients say they find me warm, welcoming, supportive, kind, compassionate and understanding. Some have told me that I've helped them change their lives.  I love my work. It's extremely rewarding to see my clients make progress and move on confidently towards a more positive future.

What 's the next step?

If you're ready to take the first step towards emotional wellbeing, I warmly invite you to get in touch with me.  I offer a free initial 15-minute phone consultation.
