About me
Is something taking all your headspace, hurting, holding you back?
How I Can Help
Hi I am Caroline, a counsellor who cares deeply about what counselling can offer: a sense of freedom, confidence, real empowerment, feeling more at home in your own skin and, most of all a greater sense of peace. We can spend so much time struggling with our thoughts and feelings, pushing them down or aside, burying them under family life, work, and the day-to-day of just getting on with things . Is it time to take back some control, and feel like the master of your own life again? With time, and with my support, you can begin to move forward in a way that feels more hopeful - you don't have to do this on your own. I offer a calm, confidential space to talk, without judgement and without pressure. Together, we gently untangle your story. I may challenge you when you are ready, always with respect for your pace and your wishes.
How I Work
I specialise in a person centred approach, but I also draw from various modalities to shape support that truly fits you. I believe you are the expert on your own life and I will provide a confidential, non-judgmental safe environment where together we can explore anything that is troubling you.
I offer support to people struggling with low confidence, anxiety, grief and bereavement, big life changes, relationship difficulties, stress and overwhelm, fear of change, retirement, trauma and loss.
I invite you to come and share your story in a confidential space where you can feel seen and heard.
Getting Started
I offer an Initial Free Introductory Call
We would start with a 15 minute telephone chat, free of charge. In this call, we'll gently explore a little of what's bringing you to therapy and any questions or worries you have, this way we can get a feel for whether we are a good fit.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

We Work Together
We work together, with respect for your pace and your story. You're the expert on your own life. I'll listen, sometimes gently challenge, and always aim to help you feel heard, understood, and less alone.
I base my practice on a person-centred approach, as in treating my client with respect, compassion, and dignity.
Face to Face Counselling
For face to face my counselling room is calm, light and private - where you can settle, breathe and take your time. A space for you to talk and pause, without pressure or judgement. Somewhere you can lay down what you have been carrying and to feel seen and heard. Click on the photo to see it in full. There is parking on my driveway.
I have trained in integral counselling, meaning I blend elements to focus on the whole person, such as humanistic, CBT, and psychodynamic, to create a tailored approach for each client.
