About me

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns that are hard to shift, therapy can offer a space to slow things down, feel supported, and begin to untangle what’s going on.

My name is Carol, and I’m a therapist, trainer, and the founder of Blend Wellbeing Centre in Sale. I work with adults who are struggling with life in different ways - whether that’s feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to make sense of what they’re experiencing.

People come to therapy for many reasons. Sometimes it’s because of long-standing experiences that haven’t been fully resolved; at other times it’s due to loss, change, or situations we didn’t anticipate. When this happens, it’s easy to feel knocked off course, carrying a jumble of emotions that can be hard to make sense of on your own.

I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where we can slow things down together and make sense of what’s going on for you. I work at your pace, paying attention to both your current experiences and any patterns that may have developed over time. Therapy with me isn’t about being given answers, but about creating space to understand yourself more fully and explore change gently.

Training, qualifications & experience

My core training is in Transactional Analysis, and I also draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including ACT, CBT, NLP, and mindfulness. This allows me to work flexibly, responding to what you bring and what feels most helpful for you, while keeping the focus on understanding patterns, increasing awareness, and supporting meaningful change.

I offer weekday and evening appointments from my therapy centre in Sale. Alongside in-person sessions, I also offer walking therapy for those who find being outdoors helpful, and online sessions via Zoom. We can talk together about what feels most comfortable and workable for you.

If you’re thinking about therapy and want to explore whether this might be a good fit for you, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
