About me

Hello I am Carol i have a Level 5 Diploma in  Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice MNCS Accredited.

I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor; I have also completed a CBT course which has helped me gain further knowledge and a better understanding for me to be able to weave this into my work when I feel it is appropriate.

My aim is to work with clients to help them overcome their struggles to have self-Understanding and enjoy a meaningful life either in home, work and in relationships.

I will provide Individuals a therapeutic relationship, I endeavour to create a safe space and earn trust for clients to feel able to share things with me that are preventing them from moving forward.

If you would like to call or email me for an initial session; to talk about what you want to get out of counselling; if you are happy to go ahead then we can set up weekly/fortnightly sessions to enable to help you.

Previous to me qualifying I worked with Individuals suffering mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, autism in Residential and Nursing care homes, after 19 years of working in these services i became interested in helping individuals in a therapeutic way.

I am currently working part time in Universities with students as a specialist mentor for mental health conditions.

I also work as a Therapeutic counsellor.

Training, qualifications & experience

Level 5 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Practice.

QLS level 4 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

I have had experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, bereavement and loss, divorce, relationships, anger, low self-esteem, confidence, habits, phobia, relationships.
