About me
Firstly, I want to commend you for recognising your need for therapeutic support and for taking the step to making it possible. There are many reasons why you might be seeking therapy at this time. Whether it is associated with feelings of loneliness, confusion, feeling low, overwhelmed, stuck, anxious etc, I believe the collaborative therapeutic relationship between you and your therapist is of great importance in you successfully achieving your therapeutic goals. I believe in the transformative power of understanding oneself, and my goal is to aid you in this journey of self-discovery.
Growth is an ever-evolving journey and we sometimes need help in navigating around the changes that comes with it. I provide a safe, accommodating and confidential space where you can be vulnerable, be your authentic self and speak your truth as you explore your thoughts and feelings without feeling judged. You will be heard, accepted and respected, to encourage you to feel empowered to explore your issues confidently, solve your problems and make any necessary changes in a healthy way. Sessions will not feel rushed or pressuring because it will be at your own pace.
Our work together will be like having a tool box, where you will develop skills that can be used as tools for you to be better equipped at navigating through/around some of life's difficult moments. By the end of our therapeutic work, you will be more confident and in-tuned with yourself. You will be more aware of your personal needs, enabling you to gain a better overall understanding of yourself.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified and experienced therapist, trained in integrative counselling, with a Masters Degree in Psychology. This means I have the ability to integrate various theoretical approaches such as Person-Centred, CBT, Psychodynamic, Attachment, and Existentialism, to offer you therapy best suited for you. As a pluralistic/integrative therapist, my method is grounded in the belief that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all. By being adaptable, I craft sessions that feel genuine and tailored, ensuring that therapy not only considers the entirety of an individual but also the depth of their relationships. This holistic stance fosters a therapeutic relationship that produces personal growth, relational understanding and well-being.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
