About me
I've worked in mental health for over 10 years, supporting people experiencing significant emotional distress, trauma, and complexity.
I adopt a neurodiversity-informed approach within therapy, and I specialise in:
- Trauma
- Chronic overwhelm
- Anxiety difficulties (including specific conditions such as OCD, health anxiety, or GAD)
- Depression and low mood
- Coping with the psychological and emotional impact of long-term health conditions (whether this is a new diagnosis or something you've struggled with for a long time)
Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns they don't fully understand - emotionally flooded, shut down, or constantly "on edge". Together, we work to make sense of those patterns, regulate the nervous system, and build a greater sense of steadiness and control.
You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out - we can work things out together.
As a Therapist
I am an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), and I later trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am a member of EMDR UK and integrate EMDR into my work, particularly in trauma-focused treatment.
Alongside CBT and EMDR, I have undertaken further training in working with people adjusting to the psychological impact of living with long-term physical health conditions. This includes supporting clients to navigate grief, identity shifts, uncertainty, and the emotional toll of ongoing symptoms.
Additionally, I have had training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and I often integrate these approaches into my work.
At the heart of my work is a belief that therapy should feel steady, respectful, and purposeful. I find it deeply meaningful to support people in making sense of their experiences, building skills that genuinely help, and moving towards lives that feel more manageable and aligned with who they are or who they want to be.
What therapy with me might look like
Depending on the therapy we do, things can look a little different. However, you can always expect that we will work together to build a shared understanding of the problem and lay solid groundwork to push forward from. After this, therapy will be tailored to you in order to help you move towards your goals and reconnect with what matters most. Many people come to therapy feeling unsure or even hopeless about things getting better - I will aim to support you to rediscover the value in your life and heal with evidence-based therapies that are proven to work.

An Inclusive Approach
I aim to create a space where everyone feels respected and understood. I recognise that our identities and life experiences including culture, race, gender, and sexuality play an important role in shaping both who we are and the challenges we face.
Getting in touch
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. Every therapist works a little differently, and it’s important to find someone whose approach feels right for you. I offer a free 15-minute call with no pressure to commit; this is a chance to ask questions, get a sense of how we might work together, and see if this feels like the right fit.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
