About us
You might be the first in your family to break the cycle.
Or maybe you’ve spent years trying to fit into systems that were never built with you in mind. You’re here because something isn’t working and you’re ready to explore what healing could look like.
I work with people navigating:
- Generational trauma or difficult family dynamics
- Cultural identity, immigration, and diasporic experiences
- ADHD and neurodivergence
- LGBTQIA+ identities, polyamory, and kink-affirming relationships
- Narcissistic abuse, toxic shame, or an inner critic that won’t quiet down.
This is a space where all parts of you are welcome.
I’m Bhuvan Briah (she/her), a British Indian Punjabi psychotherapist with ADHD, and a deep commitment to inclusive, identity-affirming therapy.
My lived experience as a neurodivergent woman of colour navigating generational trauma, cultural complexity, and belonging informs everything I do as a therapist. I know how heavy the unspoken expectations, guilt, and disconnection can feel and I also know what healing and liberation can look like.
This work is personal, sacred, and possible.
We will be a great fit if:
- You are looking for a therapist that does not ignore the systemic issues that you may face whilst still gently holding you accountable.
- If you prefer an explorative and existential way of working, delving into parts of your identity and experiences to see how it informs your present.
- You need a therapist that is politically aligned with you, that centres an approach that is anti-colonial, community focussed and culturally sensitive.
Training, qualifications & experience
I offer a compassionate, collaborative space where all parts of you are welcome.
My training is integrative, which means I adapt therapy to meet you where you are. I draw from:
- Psychodynamic
- Person-Centred Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Hypnotherapy
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Parts Work
- Somatic and nervous system regulation techniques
Together, we’ll explore your internal world with curiosity and care noticing patterns, healing shame, softening the inner critic, and building a new relationship with yourself and others. I’ll gently hold you accountable while empowering you to lead the process at a pace that feels right.
This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have always known how to survive and now want to thrive.
