About me
Therapy for ADHD, autism & anxiety, children, adults and parents, online.
If you or your child are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or misunderstood, especially around ADHD, autism, or emotional regulation, you’re not alone.
I work with neurodivergent children, teenagers, and adults, as well as parents who may be struggling to support them. Whether it’s anxiety, school avoidance (EBSA), low mood, or the impact of past experiences, I offer a calm, supportive space where things can begin to make sense again.
My approach is gentle, person centred, and led by you. That means no pressure, no judgment, just a space where you (or your child) can be heard, understood, and supported at your own pace.
As a therapist, and as a mum to two autistic and ADHD young men, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience. I understand how complex and emotional things can feel, both for individuals and for families.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am qualified and accredited in working with both children and adults. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 14 years working as a French teacher in primary schools. Since retraining, I have worked with respected counselling organisations such as Place2Be, Phoenix Health & Wellbeing, Head Agenda, Mable Therapy, and now FindingTherapy.
I am DBS checked and have received safeguarding training, ensuring that I am fully compliant and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
For adults, my online sessions last 50 minutes. I work gently and respectfully, drawing from different therapeutic models while grounding my approach in humanistic and person-centred principles. With children, sessions are 45 minutes and take place on a secure platform that provides access to creative resources and psycho-educational tools. I also use puppets, plushes, Lego and figures and always welcome children's toys in the sessions. Because play is the natural language of children, I pay close attention to what they express, both in words and through their play, so we can gently explore and process what has been troubling them, always at their pace.
You’re very welcome to get in touch if you’d like to see if we’re a good fit. I’m happy to answer any questions.
