About me
I work online via Zoom, making it easy to access therapy from wherever you feel most at ease. The initial consultation is free, as I believe it's crucial for us to see if we're a good fit for one another. It’s important that you feel comfortable with your therapist, and this session gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and get a sense of how I work. I primarily work using a Psychodynamic approach which means we explore how your past experiences, including childhood and significant life events, may be influencing your current feelings, behaviours and relationships. This approach can help uncover deep-rooted patterns and lead to greater self-awareness and emotional healing. Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings safely, at a pace that suits you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold qualifications from the CPCAB central awarding body and have completed HICA training with a specialisation in infertility trauma. As a member of the BACP, I am dedicated to delivering compassionate and effective support to individuals facing the challenges of emotional trauma.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I work exclusively online via Zoom, offering a safe and confidential space for you to explore what’s bringing you to therapy — whether that’s recent events, long-standing struggles, or feelings that are difficult to name.
My work often centres around trauma and grief, including the kinds of losses that are not always recognised or openly acknowledged — what we call disenfranchised grief. This might include the grief of infertility, early menopause, childlessness not by choice, the end of a significant relationship, or the loss of a future you had hoped for. These experiences can leave people feeling isolated, unheard, or as if they don’t have ‘permission’ to grieve. In our work together, I offer space for these feelings to be witnessed, validated, and understood.
Trauma can show up in many ways — anxiety, low self-worth, difficulties in relationships, or a sense of being stuck. I work relationally and at your pace, helping you to gently explore the roots of distress, understand patterns, and begin to heal.
Working online means you can access therapy wherever you are, from a space where you feel safe and comfortable. I’ve found that deep, meaningful work can take place online — and many clients find it easier to open up from home.
I offer the first session for free, giving us the chance to see if we feel like the right fit for one another. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions.
