About me
Life can sometimes feel like you’re walking through a dense forest at night—feeling lost, cold, uncertain of the path. Maybe the map you have is torn, or the forest looks different and you can’t seem to find a way, you may feel stuck and unsure of which direction to take.
If you’ve experienced trauma, sexual violence, ill-health or the heavy weight of CPTSD, PTSD, anxiety or depression, you may feel like you’re carrying a backpack full of invisible stones - each one a story, a wound, a memory that lingers. You may question who you are, your purpose on this journey or even doubt your ability carrying this backpack, feeling the heavy weight of its contents.
I’m not here to tell you which path to take. You already hold the compass. My role is to walk alongside you - holding the lantern, steadying your steps, and helping you notice the paths that trauma and life’s obstacles may have hidden from view.
As a counsellor with lived experience of illness and emotional struggle, I don’t just understand your pain from a textbook - I’ve sat with it, wrestled with it, and grown from it. This means I meet you with empathy, not judgment - with presence, not pressure. Whether you’re struggling with confidence, self-worth, or navigating the deep scars left by trauma, I create a space that feels more like a refuge than a clinic where you can begin to heal.
Imagine your healing not as “fixing” yourself, but as remembering who you were before the world told you otherwise. We’ll work together gently, at your pace, to rebuild trust with yourself - to reclaim your voice, your story, and your strength.
This space is for you - no masks, no expectations. Just honesty, safety, and compassion.
If you’re ready to take the next step - or even just pause and rest for a while - I’m here. Let’s walk this journey together.
Reach out for a free 30 minute session (by appointment) where we can determine if we are a good fit to walk together through this journey.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
