About me
Sometimes, life throws things at us that feel too much to face alone. You may be seeking to better understand and make sense of intense or confusing emotional reactions, gaining clarity and a greater depth of understanding of your inner world. You might be here because you’re going through something big, such as a breakup, a loss, or a career shift - or perhaps exhaustion, anxiety, stress or low mood have built up over time.
I am a fully qualified and BACP-registered counsellor, offering online counselling. You may be:
- Wanting to navigate and manage intense emotions
- Looking to build confidence and self-esteem
- Processing a past or recent trauma
- Experiencing burnout or stress at work or in academia
- Struggling with anxiety or depression
- Working through grief, trauma, or loss
- Exploring potential neurodivergence
- Feeling detached, numb, or disconnected from the world
- Integrating experiences that have shifted awareness or perception
How I Work
I offer a warm, thoughtful and collaborative space to explore whatever brings you to counselling. I listen carefully and without judgement, helping you reflect on how your experiences have shaped the way you relate to yourself and others. Our work together may involve processing emotions, untangling patterns, or simply allowing yourself to be heard in a safe and respectful environment.
At the heart of my work is a wealth of knowledge and a genuine interest in holistic health, well-being and the deeper aspects of life, drawing from a wide range of ideas, research, and philosophical perspectives. I am trained integratively, including in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which I can offer during our sessions. While such tools can be incredibly helpful, I believe the most beneficial aspect of counselling is our relationship - one based on honesty, curiosity and respect.
Students and Young People
As well as my work with adults, I support young people and students (aged 16–25) navigating identity, self-esteem, self-acceptance, exploring potential neurodivergence (such as ADHD or Autism Spectrum), academic pressure and existential questions around meaning, purpose and direction in life.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
