Mulberry is a warm, compassionate counselling service that will help you work through your problems and make the changes you want to improve your life.
The first step can be the hardest to make when considering counselling. To help you with this I offer a free 30 minute session so that you can meet and chat with me to help you decide whether to try counselling
I have special interest and experience working with relationship and family issues, low self-esteem, confidence, stress and personal development. I also offer training courses and 1-1 coaching on these subjects. Other issues I work with include anxiety, loss and depression.
Appointments can be arranged at short notice, with times to suit your availability, including early evening and weekend appointments.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a professionally qualified member of the BACP with a degree in person centred and integrative counselling.
I have had further training in a range of subjects including:

I have several years varied experience in the NHS, and charitable organisations such as Barnardos and Newcastle Carers Centre.
Prior to counselling I co ordinated an NHS Support Programme for Parents and Pregnant Teenagers. I have also delivered courses to Mind, Womens Aid and the Killingworth Community.

My fees are £40 per hour session for individuals and £50 for couples.
I have my own practise in Killingworth which is close to bus routes and the A19. There is free on site parking.
