Psychotherapist & Mental Health Nurse- Accredited with BABCP

About me

Hi my name is Ashley. Thank you for looking at my profile and considering me as your therapist.

I know that when you are struggling with anxiety or OCD, selecting the right therapist can feel like another things you need to worry about.

I want to reassure you that I understand what you are going through & I can help. Worrying & overthinking? Feeling overwhelmed & stressed due to life changes?

Do you take no time for yourself, worry about the future & feel exhausted with negative thinking, uncertainty & feeling the need to do everything perfectly?

Are you struggling to manage obsessions and compulsions?

I can help you feel more in control of your thoughts & emotions & be more present in life.

I am a fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist and mental health nurse. I help people struggling with persistent anxiety through remote therapy and I would love to work with you. I have a limited number of remaining therapy spaces. I hold sessions via zoom or the telephone.

I am trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also use training from compassion and mindfulness approaches. I tailor each treatment plan to the individual and their goals. My approach is empathetic and collaborative. Together, we’ll explore the patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that are holding you back, and work towards creating meaningful, lasting change in your life.

Why choose me as your therapist?

I promise to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported. I have over 12 years clinical experience in mental health. My clients tell me I am easy to talk to, warm and down to earth which makes therapy feel less intimidating. At the heart of therapy with me is a non-judgmental and compassionate therapeutic relationship where you feel listened to and understood. I will work at your pace to explore the parts of your life that you wish to focus on. Let’s work together to help you live a calm, fulfilled and confident life.

It is important to find a therapist who is right for you, therefore I offer a free telephone or zoom consultation to introduce myself and have a chat. Thereafter, there is no obligation to commit to therapy sessions.

Please contact me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
