About me
Starting therapy can feel daunting, but you don’t have to face things alone. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of yourself, reaching out is already a brave first step.
You deserve to believe in yourself, to put yourself first, and to feel more at ease in your own life. My role is to offer a safe, respectful, and supportive space where we can explore what’s troubling you and find a way forward together.
I work from a Person-Centred foundation, which simply means that I put you at the heart of the process. I won’t claim to be the expert in your life. You already hold the keys to the changes you want. What I offer is a space where you can untangle your thoughts and feelings, gain clarity, and discover the next steps that feel right for you. At times, I also use other approaches, like cognitive and solution-focused techniques, if they feel helpful in the moment.
If you find yourself stuck, there is a good chance you are holding all of the keys inside of you to get yourself out. But when you feel this way, you know it never feels that easy. This is where therapy comes in; you don't have to navigate alone.
FIRST STEPS TO GET STARTED:
- 1) Email me first, or 2) call me via phone. If I'm unable to get to the phone you can leave me a message and I will ring you back as soon as possible, or revert to step 1
- We can then find a time to have a quick chat to talk about what you are looking for and any further questions you might have. If you decide to go ahead then I will email you our therapy contract.
- I will then help to find a time slot that works for us both. We can go at whatever pace works for you and we can have as many or as little sessions as you feel you need.
