About me
I am a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and my primary goal is to provide a trusting, non-judgmental, and safe environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. My practice is deeply guided by the values and principles of the BACP’s Ethical Framework, meaning your welfare, safety, and confidentiality are always my highest priorities.
My approach
My integrative approach considers the whole person, addressing your mental, physical, and emotional needs. Because no two people are the same, I draw from a blend of therapeutic modalities to create a personalised experience tailored specifically for you:
Person-Centred Therapy: Ensuring you are at the heart of our sessions, guided by empathy and deep understanding.
Transactional Analysis: Helping you explore how your past experiences and communication styles impact your current relationships.
Gestalt Therapy: Bringing awareness to the present moment and the connection between your mind and body.
As a humanistic practitioner, I believe you are the true expert on yourself. I will not direct you or tell you what to do. Instead, we will explore your journey together as equals, moving at a pace that feels entirely safe and comfortable for you.
How therapy can help you
By working together to enhance your self-awareness, we can:
- Gain deeper insight into the underlying causes of your current concerns.
- Identify the specific triggers that affect your behaviour and emotions.
- Safely explore your feelings and needs without fear of judgment.
- Confidently set goals and develop new habits to enhance your overall wellbeing and satisfaction with life.
- A diverse and open perspective
Having lived in England, Ireland, Italy, and Mexico, I have a rich, firsthand appreciation for cultural diversity. This international experience is central to my practice. I approach every session with an open mind, warmly welcoming and respecting clients from all walks of life, backgrounds, and lived experiences.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
