Based in North Berwick with easy transport links I hope to offer you a warm welcome to my therapy room. There you will find a comfortable chair and a view of the beach. Sessions are one hour in length.
Everyone has differing needs at this time and if Face to face sessions do not suit you I also offer video and telephone sessions.
As a person-centred therapist I offer a non judgemental, confidential and safe environment where you can feel accepted. One of the first steps in achieving growth is to be able to be honest and open with yourself. My role in helping with that is to be warm, honest, compassionate, and facilitative.
Each individual approaches therapy in a different way and takes a different time. I will meet you with patience and give you space and time to explore your options and support your change.
I offer a free initial session to discuss the reason you are coming to therapy and what you hope to achieve. It is a chance to work out if we will be comfortable working together and check that you can be offered the most appropriate support.
It is also an opportunity to discuss how we will work together and I will provide some written information.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy ( BACP).

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
