Hello, my name is Annabel, I am a fully qualified and UKCP accredited psychotherapist working in Paddington / Little Venice.
I work in-depth with individuals.
My approach is one of warmth, respect, collaboration and open-hearted curiosity.
I believe we all have the inherent capacity for healing and wholeness and understand whatever struggles, challenges or difficulties you are contending with to be opportunities for growth. We are amazing beings and our bodies, minds and souls have ways of speaking to us and letting us know what needs our attention. Responding to these calls is healthful.
Psychotherapy offers the opportunity to look at whatever is calling with the focused support to help you find your way.
I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space in which we can meet whatever arises with open curiosity, and gain a deeper understanding of the struggles, patterns and story of your life.
In bringing attention to our experiences past and present, our feelings, fears, hopes and dreams, we open up a space within which we can see more clearly, respond more authentically, and meet life with greater equanimity. As awareness expands new possibilities open up, beyond even what we might have imagined. As we take time to connect and listen to ourselves more deeply, we learn to trust the wisdom that is there.
Taking time to be with and explore your inner self and deeper feelings is a natural and essential part of being human. We have to know ourselves so that we can create a life that is aligned and fulfilling, and make the choices that can best serve ourselves and our world.
My approach is Integrative and Transpersonal.
Integrative means that I have studied and draw from a variety of psychotherapeutic models to best meet the unique needs of each person.
The Transpersonal brings together modern psychology with the world's wisdom traditions. It includes the spiritual aspects of our experience and the fullness of our potentials.
I have been through my own in depth personal therapy process and continue to explore mind-body-spirit-nature through various channels both professionally and personally.
