About me
Anjana Rajani – Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
Helping individuals and couples create healthier relationships with themselves and each other.
Do you want to feel better but aren’t sure how?
Are you struggling with recurring patterns of thinking, feeling, or behaving that no longer serve you? Do you feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, low mood, or relationship challenges? Whether you’re an individual seeking clarity or a couple wanting to reconnect, I’m here to help.
How Can Counselling Help?
Sometimes life’s challenges can feel too much to manage alone. Counselling offers a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what’s happening, why it’s happening, and how to move forward. It can help individuals overcome personal struggles and support couples to improve communication, rebuild trust, and deepen their connection.
Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties, counselling provides tools and insights to navigate these challenges with greater ease.
About Me
I’m Anjana Rajani, a psychotherapeutic counsellor passionate about supporting individuals and couples to create stronger relationships with themselves and each other. My approach is warm, empathetic, and tailored to your unique needs, whether you’re looking for personal growth or seeking to repair and strengthen your relationship. I work with adults of all ages, helping clients build self-awareness, confidence, and connection.
What I Offer
Individual Counselling: Helping you overcome anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, or stress while building a stronger relationship with yourself.
Couples Counselling: Supporting partners to improve communication, resolve conflict, rebuild trust, and foster a deeper emotional connection. Whether you’re struggling with recurring arguments, feeling disconnected, or navigating life changes, I can help you work through these challenges together.
My Approach to Counselling
I take a holistic and integrative approach, blending techniques such as Transactional Analysis (TA) and other therapeutic methods to suit your needs. Together, we’ll explore where you are, understand how past experiences may be influencing the present, and identify ways to create the future you want. For couples, I provide tools to navigate challenges while fostering understanding and intimacy.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
