About me

Want to feel better but just not sure how?

Want to break re-occurring thinking feeling and behaviour patterns that simply don't serve you any longer?

Suffering from low mood, depression,  anxiety,  general anxiety disorder, feeling sad, panic attacks, stress, or relationship issues?

How can Counselling help?

Sometimes things can just get too much and from time to time we may need some help. Therapy involves processing what is happening, why it is happening and working out strategies to help yourself to feel better, happier  and connect with your strength to get through  difficult times.

I am Anjana Rajani and am passionate about helping people to feel better about themselves, their situations, relationships. I offer psychotherapeutic counselling services for men and women of all ages.

What is your therapy approach?

My therapeutic approach is based on the understanding that people are complex, different yet equal and believe we all have the capability to make change and grow despite personal circumstances and experiences.

What are the benefits of therapeutic counselling?

Counselling helps in many different ways. I have personally seen many clients feel better in just a few sessions. For some it can take longer however the changes can be remarkable and relationships with self and others can positively transform making life much come content, other benefits can include:

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
