About me
Individual Counselling
Are you feeling overwhelmed, confused, exhausted, or in a mess? Perhaps you are at a point in your life when your ideas of where you should be don't match up with where you are. Does it seem as though there is no way out of your current situation?
I can help you navigate your way through these feelings to a place where you have more clarity and choice about what you think, feel, and do. Together we will work to identify both the aspects of your life that are working for you, as well as the aspects that may benefit from deeper understanding and awareness.
I believe that with a sensitive and non-judgmental Counsellor, you will gain the ability to explore the parts of yourself that will bring about the changes you desire and much, much, more.
Telephone Counselling
There are times when it's not possible to access Counselling when you need it most. This may be because of health issues, family responsibilities, transport availability, work commitments or it could just be because you don't fancy the face to face experience. If this feels like you then telephone Counselling could be the answer.
About me
I am a fully qualified Person-centred/CBT Counsellor and being an registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I work to their Ethical framework for good practice. I have many years experience in listening and working with individuals who are finding it difficult to cope because of problems with anxiety, stress, loss, depression or other emotional distress.
I realise the thought of talking about yourself to a stranger can be very daunting no matter how big or small your problems may seem, so I am always happy to talk to you and explain more about my services, what to expect and see if it's the right thing for you. My aim is to help people feel as comfortable as they can possibly feel about coming to see me.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
